As we are trying to find our way through these cold days and with a new member of the family, I have found myself having to try harder to keep my little ones occupied. I am currently nursing the baby for what seems like most of the day - life has certainly moved on from when I only had 1 child to care for!
Painting, sticking, gluing, baking sewing - you name it, they are doing it! Jude managed a batch of chocolate cupcakes entirely alone - only needing help reading out the measurements and method. Snowmen were built and then smashed down - I have boys... ;-) And, many stories and board games have been told and played.
Here are a few snippets from our days...
Most of the above activities held their attention for little more than 10 minutes! BUT, we had fun along the way - we are adjusting...
